Reacting to public disapproval of the Iran war, Newsmax host says “it’s a good thing that nobody knows what we’re doing”

CARL HIGBIE (HOST): Now, Megyn Kelly actually read a poll the other day on her show that the American people aren’t clear on this. Take a listen.

HIGBIE: Look, I deeply respect Megyn. And let me tell you why it’s a good thing that nobody knows what we’re doing, at least for the immediate future. OK?

If this goes longer than another week or two, Megyn, I may be jumping on the same boat as you. But this is — not an Iranian boat because those are all sunk.

But this also means that our enemies are not clear on what we’re doing, which is the goal in combat.

Now, let me remind America that we voted for Trump, mostly because we trusted his judgment over Kamala. I mean, everybody should do that. But some people are going to say that, you know — look, some people aren’t going to like this, but I’ll say it anyway. Sometimes we don’t have the right to know everything as a populace. That’s just the facts of the matter.

But whether you agree with this or not, we’re in it. And the best thing now, having been in combat myself, is to shut up and let us win this fight. That’s all. The last thing soldiers want to hear is some armchair quarterbacking from talking heads and politicians like 5,000 miles away, when we’re trying to dodge missiles at 32,000 feet and 750 miles an hour, which is what the Senate did today, is absolutely ridiculous. They tried to stop Trump. They voted on a war powers resolution. Thankfully, it didn’t pass 53 to 47, but the 47 they didn’t vote in favor of hamstringing Trump because they disagree with this campaign, because most of them have said, you know, we need to do something about Iran anyway. They voted against Trump because they have to deprive him from mission success.
